Wow no.114 I'm so impressed that there are so many reviews up already. I actually started reading Above Ground: The Affected Parade by A M Harte just before the challenge began. Then when I finished I thought it would be perfect for this. Please go check it out because it is a new piece of writing and can use all the support.
ReplyDeleteAnother book under my belt, and a movie as well! :) "Blood of the Children" by Alan Rodgers, and "The Uninvited". Did a semi-review of the movie at least!
ReplyDeleteReview from John (Layers of Thought)
ReplyDeleteIts called "Dante's Journey" and it is a modern interpretation of "Dante's Inferno".

Three down! Messing with the rules a little, but I think it's okay. :)
ReplyDeleteFinished! Thanks for another fun year!
ReplyDeleteForgot to post a couple of links here so I apologize for the glut! I'm up to 18 adult and children's books reviewed and still going (one sitting here for review and starting another).
ReplyDeleteEven though its a romance... its very scary in parts. My Name is Memory by Ann Brashares. Goes to show reincarnation can be creepy.
ReplyDeleteJust posted my second review! I've since read two other books but haven't gotten the reviews up yet. Hey! I finished my particular peril! But I'm going to try to get in "It" and "The Passage" by the end of the month...I must be nuts.

Passed The Peril the First some time ago, but have only just posted my fourth R.I.P. review, so only now do I feel that I have succeeded in this challenge.
ReplyDeleteGot at least one movie for the Peril on the Screen portion of the challenge! I guess I've sort of completed the whole thing. Super great time!
ReplyDeleteWe have 3 reviews just posted:
ReplyDeleteOne translated crime thriller - The Devil's Star by Jo Nesbo, another court room thriller - Buying Time, and Dracula in audio.
The last post contains some pictures we took in Whitby, England - a year or so ago where a portion of the story of Dracula is set.
Very pretty and Gothic. The Abbey is amazing!
A bunch of movies and shorts guaranteed to scare and a huge give away link up to win Halloween books.
ReplyDelete2 reviews posted! I need to get moving...
ReplyDeleteI just posted my first review but unfortunately that would be my only one because I already know that I won't be bale to finish second book. But at least I finished Peril the third :).
ReplyDeleteI'm extremely slow but I did finish ONE book for the challenge! I may need to downgrade my challenge level from Peril the Second to Peril the Third, if that is permissible...
ReplyDeleteHad to post the same story 2x, as I accidentally posted the wrong link the first time. You can remove #565
